Slim pickings

These, and my computer, are pretty much all I see these days.... The books are usually open though, and spread out all over my desk. LOL. Add to that the mountain of photocopied journal-articles, my pens, my notebook, and the everpresent Coca-Cola. That's what I surround myself with right now.

So as you can imagine, I don't experince a lot of blog-worthy stuff......but, hey! That's life too ;-)

Wow, you seem to have your work cut out for you - best of luck with it!. You could always sort them by colour if you get the urge to do something creative ;-)http://www.flickr.com/photos/santos/27538777/

I'm more impressed than ever. These books appear to be in English, which I assume is not your first language. So you are researching in a foreign language in order to write a paper in Danish. You go, girl!

You are so busy!
What are you studying?

LOL! I used to organize my books by size....simply because they took up less room that way :-) But now that we are two library-and-information-science-people living together, I have finally surrendered to a more traditonal setup :-)

Most of the books I read for my studies are in English. That's one of the things you get used to, when coming from a small country.....not a lot of specialized litterature is translated. Thanks for the compliment, Diana :-D

I am studying to become a librarian, I'm not aiming to work in a public library, but in a company. What I really enjoy working with is information retrieval from commercial databases. That's why I'm studying patents information....
It's fun! I just think I would enjoy it more, if I weren't so busy!

I am glad you enjoy your studies, tine, because that looks like a heck of alot of work! I hope you get your paper done soon, so you can enjoy some sewing time : )

I am also very impressed with your English. You wouldn't know that it wasn't your first language. I wish I would have paid attention to French when I was in high school. I would like to have a second language, and where I live, there are alot of French speaking people.
