Breakfast-date!

Charles dropped the kids off at daycare this morning, as he always does, and had told me to meet him at 8:30... So I did. And for transportation, we used our bike! I sat in front, a bit small, but definately doable.

This is my view -I now understand why the kids like having the top open :-)
And this is my view when I look behind me, Charles! Fun!
He took me to this really cute little café, and we had breakfast.... I didn't take a picture....I forgot.
But here is my dessert, I think dessert after breakfast is highly underrated!!!
This was just such a great way to start the day! After breakfast we went to work...I had a class at 10:30, and Charles went to do what he does when he's at work. LOL.

And because Charles works at the Library School, we got to eat lunch together too. Such a great day :-)

What a great date! Isn't it wonderful to be just the two of you. Feels like back when you were dating. Gets the romance flowing.

Oh how fab is that bike!
I could very much get used to somebody pedalling me around everywhere - especially if there was food at the end of the journey!

Cookies are my favorite dessert! (Especially for breakfast.:>} My grandma was a wise woman in many ways, and she served dessert after EVERY meal!! Cookies for breakfast, pie for dinner (which she served at lunchtime) and cake for supper. My mom had a hard time convincing us that there was anything wrong with that approach!

What a cool bike Tine! I can't believe you fit in it! We have just got a buggy for the back of my husband's bike but the girls only just fit in, max weight is 35kgs, so no hope of me squeezing in! LOL

How lovely! A date. A novel idea...I may just have to find a babysitter, the sooner the better!

Thanks for the kind words about our grab bags and for the vote! We really appreciate it. I just love my circle of quilters..you folks are the best.

How cool is that bike! I just love it, I really want one now but considering where I live is covered in snow for about 6 months a year I'm not sure it would get enough use.

Tine
Thank you for your comments on my "sad" post today.
Mr Jelly has said I should remove the post in case the family read it, so now he's made me feel guilty so I've deleted it.
I just wanted to say thank you for thinking about me, and explain why it has disappeared from my blog

It looks like you had a lovely day, breakfast AND lunch with your honey : )

Has anyone ever told you that you look just like Marg Helgenberger? She is on CSI here in the States.
