Thank you so much for all the nice comments! I am feeling a lot better, and I did get some reading done today. But I'm still very tired, so I can't read for hours on end.... So I spent some time sewing. I have wanted to try
AmandaJeans hour glass tutorial, and I had some 3" squares left from the
I SPY. These little blocks are 2½" square....
They are not as difficult to make as I thought they would be, actually they were not hard at all :-)
Thank you,
AmandaJean for a great tutorial!

I'm so glad you're on the mend! I hope you have a relaxing weekend to finish recovering. Pretty quilt squares! I love hour glass blocks surrounding nine patches; I think JulieKQuilts has one pictured in her blog
Hour Glass blocks always look so effective. Glad to hear you are making good progress on your studies!
I am glad you are feeling better! I am loving how your quilt is coming out. Don't fret over ironing, just keep in mind you will have something absolutely wonderful when you are done! I also love your hourglass blocks!!
Love your hourglass blocks. They aren't that hard, but so pretty when put together!
Glad to hear you are feeling better! And of course stitching instead of reading is the perfect medicine ;-)
These look great. I wouldn't mind having a go at it myself. I liked the way you said it wasn't as hard as you thought. I'm off to look at the tutorial.
thanks for the link to the hourglass tute. i am starting an hourglass quilt for my granddaughter so it is funny that you put the link up at the right time for me!

Quilters are the most patient people on the planet. I'd like to attempt one some day
