So....4 years later.....

So...life got in the way big time. A lot has happened, and I have no idea where to start.

I moved into a new apartment during fall 2012, and the next 2 years seems to have been an adjustment to single life...
I'll stick to the crafty side of things. Much safer!
I haven't been sewing as much as I'd like. But then, I never do.

I finished a quilt for my bed - I like this quilt. It is almost always on my bed. Exept when the kids steal it. It's huge, so it's good for building forts.

I also did sew quite a few Christmas present quilts. These are to of my favourites, I made the flying geese quilt for my parents 2 years ago - I think it was 2 years ago.
It's nice to keep the quilts in the family, then I get to see them when I visit.

The plain spoken quilt was made for a friend. I still need to make one of these for myself :-)
I have tried applique. I just don't think, I have the patience for it. I love the look, but I don't love the process so much.

Maybe this will be completed before my kids move away from home, maybe it will not. The last is probably the safer bet. I wish I were a more patient quilter.
I need to go get reaquainted with you all. See you again soon :-)

Hi there!
Great to see you back in Blogland. I fell off the blogging wagon too some time ago - Instagram seems so much easier, doesn't it? But I miss having a kind of journal of all the sewing stuff I get up to, so in fact I'm back to blogging as of today!
