LEGOLAND!!!

My sister invited us all to Legoland for the weekend! Oh wow! Be warned.......this post has LOTS of pictures :)
Capitol built in Legos...
These are from the Lego Shop where you could buy all the strange kinds of Legos you can't normally buy -unless they are part of a set. Viola chose to buy lots of parts to build Lego men ;)
Very pleasing to a quilters eye that they are sorted by color....
The Statue of Liberty
And Mount Rushmore, they used 1.5 mio Legos to build this one (I'd hate to be the one who had to keep track)
This is the ceiling in the restaurant where we had lunch.... Legos, Legos...
....everywhere Legos! The kids loved these Lego fries :)
They also have an aquarium, they call the attraction "Atlantis"
Lots of fish, sharks, and of course, Lego divers!
Hans Christian Andersen
Look Diana! Giraffes!!

We had such a great weekend, it was unbelievable!!
The kids LOVED it :D
And so did I!

My kids thought Legoland (the UK one) was a million times better than DisneyLand Paris. I agree with them ;-)

glad you had a great weekend.

Okay, first off, I am NOT that patient. I can't even quilt with that tiny of pieces let alone build a building.
Second off, I love, love, love the giraffes. Too cool!

Very fun! So glad you got to go! We did Legoland in San Diego, California last year and it was super fun! My kids were in heaven the whole time.

Tine that is just the most amazing Lego Land I have ever seen. Everything looks stunning and the giraffes look real.

We went to the UK one last year.
After we'd taken out a new mortgage that is ... soo expensive!
boy*jelly liked the shop too with all the colours.
He spent ages looking at the buildings and villages, it was worth it just for that!

Nice! I love the photos you shared, especially the giraffes!! Imagine being the one to design these amazing creations - very cool. And even Lego french fries - so clever. It looked like the plate was Lego, too. :>}

What a fabulous place. I bet you had to try so hard to whittle down your photograph choices.

I must admit to chuckling about those lego chips. LOL

Thanks for sharing.

Wow! Memories for me too since we have been to this same Legoland a few times. We go there either on the way to Romo or back (as that's where we take the connecting ferry to Sylt island. Happy Sunday!
