Less than a month and so much to do...

These are going to be Ask's Christmas present.
I bought the Wee Wonderfuls pattern a while ago, and I thought I had everything I needed to finish Spaceboy and Robot tonight. But no. Turns out I need more felt to make embellishments, the pieces I have are too small. And I need more wool, I didn't even have enough to stuff Spaceboy :(

But on the bright side, that means I get to go to the craft store tomorrow. I also have to go to a meeting with my teacher......and I have to bring Ask, he is not well yet :(
The kiddos have been home from daycare almost 2 weeks now, which is absolutely messing up my planning :D I am so behind schedule! I have a ton of reading to do for a paper that is due January 5th and my Christmas sewing list is downright scary :/

We have had our first snow....I don't know if you can see it all that well in this photo, but it's there!
That is also the view from my kitchen window....

And....just to make my planning even worse I actually gave Charles this fabric grocery bag I made him. I was planning to give it to him for his birthday...but no....why not give it to him now, and put another thing on my endless to-do list?! Sounds clever right?
Anyway...he loves it. I made this from a sheet he had when we first met. I saved it because I like the print :) The tutorial is here, it was pretty easy to make...
Here it is hanging on Asks chair. It folds up so you can keep it in your bag, and not buy any more plastic grocery bags!

I adore your eco bag! Thank you for the link!
I hope your children get well soon, so you can get back to routine. My baby is sick as well. He threw up last night, and now has a fever. No fun.

Hia Tine yes I know that feeling. I have a making list at least so I know in theory what I have to get done. Hahahah. Cracking and it's not even December! I'm playing with a lot of snooker table green felt I got in a charity shop at the moment. if I'm not careful I'm going to wake up one morning and find I have sewed myself into a little green felt elf number in my sleep. LOL

Lovely bag design. The wide straps are so practical.

Hello Tine, even though your list is overwhelming I am sure that you will get it done and feel that great sense of achievement at the end.
The buildings near your home look so interesting, do you live in an apartment like building or a free standing home.
Take care and hope Ask gets better soon.

Hi Tine, Gee I hope Ask is feeling better soon! I now it throws a monkey wrench into your day, but it is the best this to rest. Usually when my kids are sick I just let them lay on the couch all day and force them to drink lots of fluids. I love your projects and how sweet that you saved the sheet. Did he recognize it??

The toys you are making are coming along really cute. Ask will LOVE them. Hope you get to espcape to the craft store soon. It is no fun when the little ones are sick.

And I wouldn't have been able to keep that shopping bag hidden away either.. I would want to GIVE that. Love it!

Ask is a lucky boy, those gifts look lovely. The shopping bag is gorgeous.
As for the snow lucky you! Lots of the UK had some at the weekend but we weren't lucky enough to have some.

I hear you about Christmas - I thought I had all the time in the world, but I just blinked and somehow November is almost gone!

I love that you kept one of Charles' sheets! It makes such a great shopping bag. Isn't it amazing how children can be unwell - and just yuck unwell, not dreadfully unwell for so long! And that space boy is gorgeous and you are so good for stuffing him with wool not polyfil and I love the view from your kitchen window! Sending you productive sewing wishes ... :-)

Feel better wishes to Ask and Viola, and good luck with all the projects. I know how it is, when you finish something you know someone needs, you can't wait to give it to him. Don't you be giving the quilt away too soon though! If everything isn't done in time, just wrap up the parts and add an IOU!
