Presents and a swap


My friend Diana sent me a sewing-project along with the scraps she sent me for Violas I SPY (finished quilting, it needs binding).
Viola and I worked on this together, and it was a lot of fun :-)

She asked me where we live, and when I showed her Denmark on the map, she said " Yipee! We live in a purple country!"
Lucky for us, for -as Diana said when I told her- it would be such a shame to have to move, because we were living in a red or a green country!!

But then.....look what I got in the mail!!
Diana sent me this sunrise wallhanging, not as a swap -just because! Thank you so much Diana! I love it!

I have finished my July miniquilt for the Flickr swap...

    Love the red and blue quilt - simple and beautiful! Your Sunrise hanging looks great. Looks like your mini quilt is shaping up well.

    Gorgeous quilt.

    I live in a green country by the looks of things. But, but, but Ireland seems to be a purple country and I am from there so will Viola let me in the cool gang?

    I think I see little zig zags...i bet it's soooo cute! I want my country to be a pattern...polka dots would be nice!

    oh i like just because gifties!! and such a pretty one. i would have hated for you to have to move because you were living in an ugly colored country to yea for purple!! what a cute globe

    I love that blue, red and white quilt so much. I have been keeping similar fabrics for just such a quilt....one day....one day.
